Improperly using or maintaining hand and power tools poses significant threats to health and safety. This course offers an overview of the hazards associated with these tools, covering OSHA's safety standards.
Gain insights into proper guarding techniques, personal protective equipment, and other safety requirements. This course will also address safety considerations for tools that generate hazardous respirable silica dust.
You will earn 1 hour of general elective credit toward earning or renewing your Site Safety Training (SST) card upon completion of this course.
Upon completing lessons and passing the 10-question final exam with a minimum 75% score, receive an immediate certificate of completion. Three attempts are given for passing the final.
