Working in construction often involves tasks such as lifting heavy loads or engaging in repetitive physical activities. This can result in strains, sprains, musculoskeletal disorders, and various related injuries, such as back problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, rotator cuff tears, and strains.
Participants who enroll in this course will gain a better understanding of ergonomics, recognize potential musculoskeletal hazards in your work environment, and explore preventive measures against potential musculoskeletal injuries.
You will earn 1 hour of general elective credit for your Site Safety Training (SST) card upon completion of this course.
Upon completing lessons and passing the 10-question final exam with a minimum 75% score, receive an immediate certificate of completion. Three attempts are given for passing the final.
Note that THIS TRAINING IS AWARENESS-LEVEL ONLY and does not provide any other qualification or authorization outside of the Site Safety Training Card.
Your employer is responsible for providing the necessary training on:
