Once every 5 years, Local Law 196 by the NYC Department of Buildings mandates that construction workers at NYC jobsites adhering to a Site Safety Plan renew their essential Site Safety Training (SST) through 8 hours of SST approved by the DOB.
This package satisfies the SST Worker renewal criteria, and features the following courses:
- 4-Hour Fall Prevention - 0.4 CEUs
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher - 0.4 CEUs
You will be issued your SST card after you complete all required hours, score at least 75% on all quizzes and final exams, and provide identity verification documents.
Workers and supervisors whose Site Safety Training (SST) cards expire in 2023 must complete site safety training refresher courses before they can renew their cards. Refresher training must be taken no more than one year before applying for card renewal.
