NYC SST: 22 Hour Supervisor Upgrade Package

This package is designed for NYC SST Workers looking to upgrade to an SST Supervisor. The New York City Department of Buildings, Local Law 196 of 2017, requires that supervisors on job sites with a Site Safety Plan complete a total of 62 hours of training. As a result, the courses included in this package must be completed in addition to the 40-hour SST Worker training. Upon completion, students will be eligible to receive a Supervisor Site Safety Training (SST) Card.

This package satisfies the NYC DOB requirements for a Supervisor SST Card, and features the following courses:

• Prescribed Courses:
  • 8-Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher/Chapter 33
  • 4-Hour Supported Scaffold
  • 2-Hour Site Safety Plan (SSP)
  • 2-Hour Tool Box Talks
  • 2-Hour Pre-Task Safety Meetings
• General Electives:
  • 1-Hour Hand and Power Tools
  • 1-Hour Protection From Sun Exposure
• Specialized Electives:
  • 1-Hour Asbestos / Lead Awareness
  • 1-Hour Confined Space Entry

You will receive your SST card after completing required hours, scoring 75% on quizzes and final exams, and providing SST Worker card and identity verification.
