Marketing and Public Relations Manager
Full-time position available for early stage entry into a fast-growing technical company based in Houston. Great benefits and casual work environment.
Responsibilities
Position reports to the company Vice President of Business Development and will be responsible for working with the Vice President in the development and implementation of a strategic marketing plan for the organization. General roles and responsibilities are summarized below:
Job Experience
Experience in the following is desirable:

Develop marketing plan and budget

Develop brand and migration path

Create and implement promotions
-
Write and send Press Releases to media and partners
-
Develop and maintain database of media distributors/outlets
-
Work with partners to identify ways to promote product

Conduct competitive pricing analysis
-
Work in media relations to obtain interviews, speaking engagements, and reviews in trade journals and business outlets (e.g., magazines and newpapers)
-
Oversee and ensure consistency of branding across all company collateral - website, pamphlets, direct mailing pieces, etc.

Develop and track spending analysis
-
Develop and track marketshare report
-
Track and report success of various marketing efforts

Plan tradeshows
-
Identify and submit to award programs
-
Manage and provide reports on marketing budget
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
-
3-6 years of marketing experience in the field.

Proficient in the use of PC software including Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

Must possess exceptional organizational skills and quality control.

A team player who works well with others and is able to multi-task
-
Self motivated, able to work with minimum supervision and exhibits excellent initiative, intensity and motivation.

Must have high/outstanding Integrity.
